Brief Bio
Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat (Fellow of IEEE and Fellow of SCS) is an internationally well-known academic/researcher/ scientist. He received his Ph.D. and M. S. degrees in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Obaidat is currently the Chair and Full Professor of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University, NY, USA. He has received extensive research funding and has published Forty Six (46) books and over Six Hundreds and Eighty (680) refereed technical articles in scholarly international journals an proceedings of international conferences, and currently working on three more books. Mohammad is the Editor-in-Chief of the Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems, the FTRA Journal of Convergence and the KSIP Journal of Information Processing. He is also an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications. He is now an editor of the Wiley Security and Communication Networks Journal, Journal of Networks, International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and Convergence, IJITCC, Inderscience. Prof. Obaidat is an associate editor/ editorial board member of seven other refereed scholarly journals. He has guest edited numerous special issues of scholarly journals. Brief Bio
Panagiotis G. Sarigiannidis received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He is currently a Lecturer with the University of Western Macedonia, Kozani, Greece. He has published over 70 papers in international journals, conferences, and book chapters. His research interests include medium access protocols in optical networks, dynamic bandwidth allocation schemes in passive optical networks, scheduling policies in IEEE 802.16 wireless networks, wireless push systems design and optimization, quality of service provisioning in optical and wireless networks, trafic estimation and prediction via numerical analysis, and design of burst allocation for optical burst switching networks. ...
